Prudential's technology division GBTS is looking for a Mid/Junior level E-Commerce engineer. The Engineer will be required to assist with designing, testing, implementing, documenting the components listed in the qualifications below. Monitor the system/logs, assist in problem determination and troubleshooting activity.
3+ years of Internet Engineering experience
Working with F5/Network for median to large enterprises
Understanding of application layer protocols including HTTP, SSH, SSL and DNS
Perform in-depth troubleshooting of issues as needed including packet captures
Assist with creation of implementation plans of new F5 management network
Development/Programming experience with tools such as Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python
Strong analytical skills
Problem Determination experience
Work collaboratively with team members
Ability to work remotely off hours and during scheduled activities
Ability to work on their own
Available to travel (<25%)
Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience
Proficient in F5 Networks technologies, include LTM and GTM
Understanding of DNS infrastructure including root servers, Bind, DNS-Security
Experience with Network and VLAN segmentation
Good level experience working in AWS
Capacity Management experience
Project Management experience
