The Operations Automation Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing and implementing automation technology, solutions and processes in CDS Global Operations.
Maintains confidentiality of CDS Global and its clients’ proprietary information.
Responsible for analyzing, designing and implementing automation technology, solutions and processes in CDS Global Operations.
Reviews and analyzes operational processes, procedures, and problems to improve efficiencies and quality using automation tools (Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Automation).
Identifies and recommends automation, efficiency, technology upgrade and enhancement opportunities to reduce the reliance on manual processes.
Develops documentation to support analysis and automation recommendations including business requirements, technical and functional requirements, process maps, gap/problem analysis, etc.
Provides automation technology and solution expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost-effective and meet user and system requirements.
Provides consultation to users in automated solutions.
Leads cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues that span multiple environments.
Leads implementation and success of identified automation solutions.
Leads complex projects using a broad knowledge of operations, existing systems and automation technologies. Projects and tasks will focus on enhancing operational efficiencies and automation.
Develops action plans to implement improvements.
Manages introduction, trial and launch of new/enhanced products and services by collaborating with stakeholders, including CDS Global Operations and Customer Service, and integrating within the current practices.
Prepares reports summarizing information or trends related to automation.
Implements improvements with measurable results in savings, revenue or quality.
Provides expertise and serves as a liaison between the business unit and IT department.
Creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Programs and scripts automation processes.
Setups, configures, monitors and maintains the automation solutions.
Troubleshoots and resolves all automation related issues.
Maintains comprehensive knowledge of current automation technology trends and best practices.
Interacts in cooperative and professional manner, with all levels of employees, vendors and/or clients, in team environment.
Organizes tasks and resources to complete work and meet deadlines according to established departmental procedures.
Travels as required or requested.
Follows CDS Global ergonomic and safety policies.

EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND LICENSING
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field. Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for the minimum education requirement.
Five or more years of progressively complex experience implementing automation solutions.
Experienced professional with comprehensive knowledge and experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation, and Data Automation.
