We are in search of a Water Resources Engineer to join our family of engineers and scientists who has a strong quantitative and project management skillset to support municipal, state, federal and private projects in the Southwest and throughout the Nation. This is an engaging and high-impact position in which you will work closely with national industry leaders to support clients with integrated stormwater management and design, green infrastructure (GI), hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analysis, water quality analysis, and watershed management projects. In this position, you will work as a team member to deliver integrated stormwater resources projects of substantial variety and complexity. You will have the opportunity to work on the most leading-edge water resources projects to push the next generation of stormwater management.
More About This Role:
Our team regularly delivers a variety integrated water projects to our clients. The breadth and depth of your opportunities will include:
Leading as a project and task manager to exceed client expectations and manage schedules and budgets
Leading stormwater management projects focused on integrated stormwater planning and design and green infrastructure
Strategically managing programs related to optimization of stormwater infrastructure, including operations and maintenance and asset management
Supporting the preparation of construction documents (plans and specifications)
Supporting cost-benefit analysis
Conducting hydrologic and hydraulic analysis
Analyzing watershed and water quality data using GIS and statistical techniques
Developing compelling visual graphics (descriptive charts, figures/maps, and tables/matrices) to communicate complex quantitative analyses to clients
Drafting reports and memos to describe results and recommendations
Managing project and task quality control and assurance
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Preferred) in environmental/civil engineering (or related field)
Active Professional Engineer (PE) certification in California (or ability to obtain PE within 1 year)
5-10+ years of relevant engineering experience
Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
Strong task or project management skills
Strong background in stormwater design and/or watershed management
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, EPA SWMM, and/or ArcGIS preferred
MS Office Suite proficient
Highly motivated, organized, and driven by excellence and quality
