ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform all engineering and technical assignments related to the product line. Provide product support to Production, Process Engineering, Quality and Accounting.

  • Develop and maintain all engineered manufacturing drawings and related supporting documentation for the entire product line, including BOM’s.
  • Continuous improvement of product development
  • Generating quotes and purchase requisitions for material and special order components
  • Will lead all new product launches
  • Interaction with Customer via email, phone, and site visits
  • Staying current with all federal code requirements
  • Provide input to production scheduling to maintain project schedules
  • Identify potential and existing problems and provide a solution
  • Closely work with shop personnel to ensure accuracy and quality of product
  • Closely work with cross functional teams such as Process Engineering, Quality, Production, and Accounting for execution of plans, process improvements and cost savings.

Qualifications and Requirements bachelor

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks
  • CAD/CNC programming experience preferred, specifically SIGMANEST
  • Experience in metal fabrication preferred
  • Experience with PPAP’s a plus
  • Must be a strong leader and detail oriented
  • Capable of working in a team environment
