This integral individual will be responsible for the configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of test systems for CTDI's rapidly expanding test and repair service centers. Candidate must be a "hands-on" and motivated engineer that is able to work independently.
1st shift position, the standard work hours are from 5am-3pm M-F
This person will set-up, configure, test, and trouble shoot Test Equipment. Will also be responsible for training others on how to properly use the equipment to ensure longevity.
Configure, test, and troubleshoot electronic equipment and PC’s
Set-up, calibrate test systems
Troubleshoot hardware and software connectivity issues
Qualify and run tests on various communications test equipment
Ability to read wiring schematics and diagrams
Train Associates on how to run the test equipment
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to operate a PC and input data
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Good manual dexterity
Understanding of wiring diagrams
Strong computer skills
Associate's degree in Electronics or equivalent field
IPC 610 certification or A+/Network+ Certification is preferred
Scripting language (Java, C++, etc.)
2 years of experience in an Electronics Engineering environment
