Currently, CNC is looking to hire an experienced CMM programmer.

Specific Responsibilities:
Program and operate CMM and video inspection equipment for first piece, in-process, and final inspections
Manage and maintain database of CMM and video inspection programs
Maintain inspection equipment including probe calibrations, machine calibrations, periodic physical maintenance and software/hardware updates
Identify and implement best work holding practices on a job by job basis and aid in design/procurement of work holding fixtures
Interpret and communicate CMM results to support production
Train production personnel in proper use of measuring equipment and interpretation of program results
Perform inspections using a variety of hand measuring tools: micrometers, calipers, etc.
Assist in the development of work instructions/SOPs as needed
Other duties as required

Required Skills:
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings
Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude
Drive for continuous personal development and embrace ongoing training
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Attention to detail
Ability to follow written and verbal direction
Dependable with a strong work ethic

Self Starter
Experience with MCOSMOS helpful
Understanding GD&T
Previous machining experience helpful
Previous CAD experience

Physical Demands:

Work in a production machine shop environment
