ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking an Environmental Engineer or Scientist to join the Environment & Facility Services Department in our White River Junction, VT office. This professional will support our team of engineers and scientists primarily in the areas of assessment, remediation, and hazardous building materials assessment.
Projects will include Phase I and Phase II site assessments, brownfield redevelopment, and hazardous materials management including PCBs, lead, ACM, and indoor air quality. This person will also work closely with our transportation and civil engineering departments on regulatory compliance projects involving soil management, stormwater, compliance, land development, as well as other areas of practice. Specific tasks will include project planning and execution, field work, data documentation and analysis, and report writing for a range of projects primarily located in Vermont and New Hampshire.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, environmental engineering, or related discipline
Typically requires 1-5 years of relevant working experience; internship experience will be considered
Familiarity with environmental regulations and experience using Geographic Information System (GIS) and/or AutoCAD software desirable.
Excellent writing and communication skills required.
