S3 Inc. is seeking CH-47F Flight Engineers to support a contract at Ft. Rucker, Alabama. **THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**
Position Description: The CH-47F Flight Engineer will lead aircrew and/or non-aircrew students in training in both simulator and rotary winged airframe/flight environments in support of advanced rotary wing training programs. Training will be conducted in accordance with Army Regulations, United States Army Training and Doctrine Command Programs of Instruction (POIs) and Standard Operating Procedures within the 110th Aviation Brigade and in compliance with the most current POIs and the applicable Course Management Plans.
Experience/Skills Required: Non-Rated Crewmembers (NRCMs) must have appropriate military occupational specialty with non-rated crewmember flight training. NRCM Flight Instructors (FI) shall have 8+ years as a non-rated crewmember and have been previously designated as an FI in the CH-47F.
Education Required: High School Graduate or equivalent experience. Flight Instructors shall be a graduate of an Army-approved NRCM Flight Instructor/Standardization Instructor Course.
Security Clearance Required: Have a current Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Certifications/Licenses: Flight Engineers shall maintain an annual current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Class 3 Medical Certificate or, if a member of the National Guard or Reserves, a DD Form 2992 (Medical Recommendation for Flying or Special Operational Duty).
Other: Must have appropriate military occupational specialty with non-rated crewmember flight training.
