We are searching for a Structural Engineer who is able to provide structural support for various project types. The position requires a Structural Engineer looking to acquire a PE and SE licensed with 1-3 years of experience in structural design. Already licensed candidates are a plus. Must be able to adapt to quick project turnarounds and various types of engineering. Typical responsibilities include field inspections, reporting, documentation, structure design and analysis, design calculations, construction engineering support for contractors, various structural support for our Power, Gas and Aviation groups. This position offers a significant opportunity for advancement as we are looking to continue expansion of our company’s structural capabilities.
Design to client and regulatory requirements
Submit quality work within the schedule and budget requirements
Shop drawing review and disposition
Structural inspections and report writing
Bridge and Retaining Wall Design
Creating Structural Plans
Construction Engineering support for various contractors
Other duties as assigned
Four year technical degree from an ABET accredited institution
Masters degree in structural engineering a plus
One to three years of structural design experience
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel as well as ACAD or MicroStation
Knowledge of applicable codes and standards including AASTHO and AISC
Knowledge of principles of structural engineering and computer application software such as RISA-3D, STAAD, Revit, AuotCAD.
