2nd shift: M - F, 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm, $18.50/hr + $2.00 Shift Premium
Under general supervision performs repetitive inspection tasks on assembled products using Standard Work Instructions and Device History Records (DHRs) while maintaining training certifications.
Responsibilities
Will verify the accuracy of orders to the Devise History record (DHR) and customer order
Will work from written and/or verbal instructions while maintaining pace with production requirements
Will provide coaching feedback to assemblers to help improving their processes
Will maintain inspection paperwork ensuring its completed according to applicable requirements
Will be required to comply with documentation and regulatory procedures and policies.
Will interact with internal customers to help resolve, inspection and/or components issues.
Will inspect labeling, literature and/or packaging to ensure regulatory compliance.
May work from engineering schematics or blueprints to perform accurate checks and tests.
May include training others in inspection techniques and procedures.
May support the inspection of multiple products/product lines as needed

Physical Requirements
Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis and/or up to 75 pounds of force occasionally to move objects
Very good visual acuity
Requires hand grasp ability
Requires coordination of hands and/or eye/hand/foot
May be required to reach, push or pull in order to accomplish job accountabilities
Job demands include prolonged stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting and/or standing as appropriate
Mental Requirements
Must be able to observe and note minute inconsistencies.
Must be able to follow and explain detailed instructions and inspection procedures.
Must be able to explain detailed documentation accurately.
Must be able to communicate product and/or component part deficiencies to assembly, supervisory and/or engineering personnel.
Must thrive in a team environment
Qualifications/Work Experience Preferred
Reading, writing, arithmetic, and measuring skills.
Blueprint/Engineering schematic reading and interpretation.
Ability to select and operate appropriate measurement equipment accurately.
Basic inspection techniques.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn Stryker specific programs
1-2 years of assembly and/or final inspection of assembled products experience, preferred
Education/Special Training Preferred
High school diploma or GED
