Job Description Summary:
Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
Job Description Summary
Maxim is seeking an Entry-Level Process Integration Engineer to provide support to Manufacturing Operations by optimizing existing manufacturing processes and developing novel manufacturing processes. Manufacturing processes include analog/mixed-signal device processing, parametric testing, and defect analysis.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Creating new manufacturing processes using design of experiment (DOE)
Developing and monitoring statistical process control (SPC) metrics to improve quality
Writing operational specifications
Evaluation of material based on defect measurements and electrical tests
Problem solving to improve semiconductor manufacturing processes
Working in a clean room environment
Training and mentoring process engineering technicians
Statistical data analysis and data mining
Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, or related
Minimum GPA of 3.5 for undergraduate and graduate-level coursework
Excellent communication and presentation skills
