The Manufacturing Engineer provides technical assistance to production support personnel in day to day production problem resolution; management of production improvement projects; automated equipment design and reliability; installation of capital equipment; assist in training. This role requires a high attention to detail as the key position results include but are not limited to reducing equipment down time; attaining higher production rates; reduced labor costs; and cross training of production support personnel. This position utilizes strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills to identify, develop and follow through on a course of action. An organized, self-motivated, problem solver that utilizes a strong work ethic for a 250+ union facility in Chilton, WI is required.
Works in a team environment focusing on meeting Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost standards
Assists in troubleshooting automation equipment and other types of machinery/equipment
Assists in capital equipment rebuilding or replacement projects
Liaison to outside vendors and support services
Perform all duties in the spirit of Our Philosophy and in accordance to legal, ethical and contractual practices

Bachelors in Engineering or related experience
