The Energy Management Intern will be a part of Yardi’s growing commercial segment performing analysis to recommend more efficient and sustainable ways to operate businesses with Yardi Energy products related to conservation, analytics, benchmarking, billing, and payment. They will partner with Engineers to identify energy efficient strategies, generate savings models, maintain reporting systems, review client data to identify gaps and errors, and suggest system improvements for future development.

Interns will be responsible for learning and executing the following:

Support operations team in researching electrical utility programs to establish a schedule of specific capabilities, pricing and incentive programs
Support implementation in analyzing fault diagnostics alerts for false positives and nuisance triggers
Support Energy Engineers in data mining and preparation for analysis
Perform high-level calculations, trend analysis, and quality control on all utility types
Enlist support from management and peers to address complex client requests and resolve complex issues

Requirements for this internship are as follows:
Senior level status or recent graduate
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Current major in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Desire to work and make a contribution in the Energy sector
Ability to work a minimum of 32 hours per week
Ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Collegial, team-oriented disposition with the desire and ability to establish cooperative working relationships with employees at all levels within Yardi, outside of Yardi, and with clients.
Ability to learn new concepts and Yardi programs
Ability to focus and deliver on tasks and goals without distraction
Ability to communicate effectively, cooperatively and persuasively (written and verbal communication)
