Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) is seeking a Web Developer with Ruby on Rails experience. As part of a small, agile development team, you’ll have the opportunity to shape a product from its earliest days in a flexible environment. We are looking for someone that will contribute to an energetic team environment, work independently without significant supervisory direction, and can integrate into and communicate with a team of developers, UX designers, project managers, and faculty while bringing a passion for technology and education. In this role you will be writing code, documenting requirements, preparing test plans, writing documentation, and following through to launch new teaching and learning products to faculty and students.
This job will be filled as a level 2, level 3, or level 4, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
