Entry Level Structural Engineer

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Structural Engineer for employment in the Columbus, OH office. Entry level position responsible for assisting more experienced staff with the design of major building projects across the United States (projects to have construction costs of up to $750M). Potential projects come from a wide variety of industry sectors including healthcare, aviation, industrial, parking structures, and higher education. Structural engineer will work collaboratively with more experienced engineers on large projects while developing the skills to lead/work independently on smaller structural design projects.

The responsibilities of this position include:
+ Perform structural analysis and design

+ Coordinate work with other design disciplines and prepare contract documents

+ Construction administration

+ Author structural reports, assessments, and studies.

+ Develop project management experience such as scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, etc.

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural or related field.
