We are seeking an experienced, motivated Systems Integration Engineer to support Chassis global vehicle motion control systems.
To deliver integrated hardware, software & calibration for Development, Production and Service by ensuring program execution to standard processes.
Lead and support continuous process improvements.
Work with program teams and plants for robust controller execution per GM processes. May include technical root causing and corrective action with customer care & aftersales.
Minimum Skills and Experience
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
Knowledge of and 5 - 7 years of experience in vehicle system development including several of the following areas:
Control system integration and testing of hardware and software
controller hardware design and failure modes of electronic modules
electronic control module, sensor or actuator development, manufacturing and test engineering
Vehicle electrical systems and serial data communications (e.g. CAN, GMLAN)
System/software/hardware requirements development and validation

Preferred Skills and Experience
Prior experience negotiating between parties
Knowledge and 5+ years of experience in Embedded Controls
Knowledge and experience with ECU controller and data file release process
Knowledge of vehicle dynamics and electronic chassis systems
Knowledge of OBD-II Diagnostics and Functional Safety
Knowledge and experience in Control system hardware/software implementation, integration and test
Demonstrated proficiency in Project Management
Demonstrated ability to work in a Global environment
Demonstrated proficiency in planning and organizing, drives for results
Take initiative and efficient in issue resolution
