LOCATION: Wilsonville, OR
Our Manufacturing Process Engineers are assigned to Sensor Manufacturing cells, based on their academic background and skillset. These Engineers are responsible for day to day sensor manufacturing operations and continuous process development and improvement of their work cells. This entry level role functions as a rotating position rotating to different work cells every six months.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Acquiring basic principles of the sensor manufacturing processes and hands-on equipment operating skills and knowledge in the assigned cell.
Ensuring accurate documentation of each process in the cell.
Troubleshooting basic of malfunctions with equipment within the assigned cell.
Initiating failure investigation of non-conforming sensors.
Reporting manufacturing and process updates to the cell leader.
Identifying new opportunities for improvement in the cells including written internal proposals or projects of process & yield improvement.
Contributing to the Company’s Lean projects and initiatives, including 5S and Visual Factory Initiatives.
WHAT WE NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering with
2 years of relevant work experience including applicable coursework or professional training in computer programing, mathematics, physics, or biology, in lieu of work experience
Strong desire and motivation to enter medical device industry
Strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic
Ability to self-direct and work autonomously with minimal supervision required
Excellent communication and writing skills
Ability to travel, if needed within the US
