ABOUT THE POSITION:
Some of the key responsibilities for the position include:
Hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analysis and modeling;
Watershed, stormwater management, and stream restoration design and analysis;
Surface water quality/hydrodynamic modeling and environmental data analysis;
Green infrastructure/low impact development best management practice design;
Floodplain modeling and permitting;
Erosion and sediment control design;
Clean Water Act/National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) compliance;
Civil/infrastructure design and site layout;
Site visits/field investigations; and
Preparation of technical reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, etc.

Training: This position may require OSHA and or MSHA health and safety, first aid, and CPR training and medical monitoring, paid for by the firm. Travel: Up to 15%
Fieldwork: As projects require.

BS degree in civil, environmental, biosystems engineering or related science. (required)
Advanced degree in engineering or science. (preferred)
Experience with modeling/design tools such as HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, HY-8, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and TR-55. (preferred)
Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record. (required)
