Work with development and other stakeholders to understand and analyze usage of core applications and apply performance testing methodology. Provide value added analysis of results to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend tuning options. Proficiency in Performance Testing tools like JMeter and one or more modern programming languages, preferably Java. Automate testing by leveraging Jenkins as part of continuous integration.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Proficiency in Performance Testing and one or more modern programming languages, preferably Java
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
Experience with JMeter, developing Load Test Scripts for performance testing, setting up Test Scenarios, Load Modelling.
Experience in developing Performance Test Plans and Performance test Scenarios using requirements and design documents while specifying Testing Overview, Approach, Strategy, Scope, Architecture, Environment, Roles and Responsibilities.
Experience in Perl, Shell scripting, Windows Scripting; performance testing Web-based, Middleware and WebLogic Tuning, JVM Tuning. CI/CD tools
Performance analysis & Capacity planning experience in any of the following Monitoring tools Dynatrace, Splunk or other Java monitoring tools
Familiarity with Java Programming
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
