The Morgan Stanley Virtual Engagement Associate role is a unique opportunity to prepare and develop the skillset for a career in the Wealth Management division of the financial services industry. Virtual Engagement Associate – Training Instructional Designer will work in a centralized location to provide support to the design and development team. They will focus primarily on the design and development of training of all forms, including but not limited to e-Learning, quick reference cards, websites, reference materials / online manual pages, video and motion graphics, as well as on-going maintenance and updates as needed.
The Training Group Design and Development team is the organization that creates custom learning programs for the Morgan Stanley field. We translate business requirements, systems/tools, programs and products into learning for the field. Our goal is to create an innovative personalized learning experience in everything we do.
If successful in the role, Virtual Analysts will have the option to transition into the three-year Financial Advisor Associate (FAA) program
Virtual Engagement Associate – Design Studio Developer Job Requirements:
Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 (or equivalent)
Must hold a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of financial services experience or related industry preferred
Possess exemplary communication, presentation and time-management skills.
Stay organized, focused, and highly disciplined. Be able to keep track of simultaneous competing needs of their assigned Financial Advisors and execute on all necessary actions in a timely manner.
Can work independently and is entrepreneurial.
Ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines.
Seek constructive feedback and coaching from Next Best Action colleagues and Financial Advisors, actively using it to improve how they approach future tasks.
Proactively analyze client relationships and make recommendations to Financial Advisors on how to supplement the client experience.
Understanding of Adult Learning Theory
Familiarity with designing new hire or professional development training
Establish, maintain and support strong working relationships with Financial Advisors and Product Team members. Demonstrate accountability and a strong work ethic to promote confidence and trust in their work.
Understanding of learning experience design, ideally in a highly regulated market.
Familiarity with digital technology and Microsoft applications.
Knowledge of Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360, and/or other eLearning software preferred.
Must have basic understanding of HTML.
Must have basic understanding of Content Management Systems.
Advanced Graphic/Web Design skills preferred.
Advanced video editing/motion graphics skills, with knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere preferred.
Be authorized to work in the U.S. without durational restrictions.
Successfully complete background check and pre-employment assessments.
