Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities

The Contractor shall support the program as an Operating Location Engineer in Las Vegas, Nevada. There are several general duties required:

Provide test and technical expertise to support testing on the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR),

Assist personnel on getting hardware and software on and off the NTTR,

Coordinate range availability and requirements between the NTTR and the customer,

Facilitate data transfer and data analysis between the customer and the NTT R,

Support requests for assistance to support large test events,

Develop collaboration opportunities between the customer and NTTR

Participate in operational analyses

Aid customer testing on NTTR by writing and/or reviewing test plans and by readying documents for both technical and safety review boa rds.

Ease technology development by enabling efficient and effective communications between customers in support of test activities on the NTTR.

Collaborate with other Air Force organizations, other government agencies the Navy, and the Army to minimize redundant testing and to optimize each test events to gather the most critical data on the NTTR.

Qualifications
Candidates for this support must have a TS clearance and extensive background working in the area of electronic warfare. Experience includes conducting testing for advanced capabilities; performing operational analyses, collaborating and communicating with multiple and stakeholders, and operating in classified environments.

5+ years experience related to flight test or weapons systems test engineer

Bachelor's degree or higher in aerospace engineering or related technical field

Test Pilot School graduate preferred
