To support and advance patient care by applying engineering and asset management skills to healthcare technology through consultation, research, reporting, engineering services, and education.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s in biomedical or related engineering field with life science coursework and two year full time internship or one-year organizational clinical engineering experience required.
In-depth knowledge of information technologies as they relate to networking, integration, and interoperability of clinical technologies. Demonstrated understanding of systems engineering principles and project management methodology.

Skills required include experience with PC software; use of electronic and mechanical test equipment.

Desirable Qualifications
Experience as an engineer working with clinical technology in healthcare desirable..
Certification as a clinical engineer, cybersecurity professional or network administrator or ability to obtain within two years desirable.
