The microelectronics Quality Assurance Technician is
responsible for the visual inspection, dimensional measurements, and paperwork
verification of incoming material and work in process. Products are
high-reliability custom components and higher-level assemblies, consisting of
chip and wire-bonded IC’s, electro-optical modules, multichip components, RF modules,
BGA’s, and hybrids.
This position will be on the fourth shift, working
Friday-Sunday from 5:00 pm to 5:30 am.
Perform incoming visual, dimensional, and
Perform visual inspection of work in process.
Audit work in process paperwork.
Accurately and clearly log results of inspections
and descriptions of non-conformances into Oracle database.
Process MRB transactions as directed by engineering.
successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and
5 years minimum experience using a microscope to
inspect or assemble microelectronic assemblies and components, including (but
not limited to) substrates, die, wire-bonds, epoxy-attach, solder, mechanical
parts, and various other components.
Knowledge of MIL-STD-883 and IPC-A-610 is required.
Demonstrated use of mechanical inspection hand
Position will interface with weekday shifts, as well
as operators, technicians, and engineers, so clear communication and
documentation skills are critical.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience using X-Ray, XRF, and CMM equipment.
Experience analyzing/interpreting CSAM images.
Experience with Oracle.
ASQ CQI or CQT certification.
Trained in ASME Y14.5 geometric dimensioning and
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Fortive Business
System (FBS), or Danaher Business System (DBS)
