Prelude Services is currently searching for an energetic, customer-focused, VoIP Engineer who will assist in the development, maintenance, configuration, implementation, securing, and troubleshooting network hardware and software for Prelude and all clients. Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN architectures to help design and install internal and external networks. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures required to support LAN/WAN networks. This role requires proven analytical and problem-solving abilities and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Minimum of 7 years experience with Cisco voice products
Cisco Voice Collaboration Certification (CCNA or CCNP)
Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco voice and data products including Cisco Unified Communications Manager / Call Manager (v10.5 and greater), Cisco Voice Gateways, Cisco Unity, Cisco Unified Border Elements (CUBEs), Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) functionality, VCS, TMS, VoIP troubleshooting tools, Cisco Routers, and Cisco Switches
Strong understanding of VoIP routing features and communications protocols, such as H323 / SIP / MGCP/G.711 / G.729, SRST, private line services (E1/T1) and SIP trunks.
Work with Project team to design, configure and deploy complex Cisco VOIP systems
Work with clients to discuss call flows and recommend how to design proper VOIP systems in enterprise environments.
Setup and install any VOIP or network related equipment needed for voice projects
Work with vendors and ISP to coordinate and test SIP and PRI ports and circuit turnups.
Be an escalated resource for support to assist in troubleshooting voice or call flow issues
Assist Account Managers on how to speak about voice technologies and give them sales guidance for product needs and upgrades
Setup and instruct internal users and clients with Cisco Telepresence and other Collaboration technologies
Offer expert level consulting services to both internal and external customers
Strong focus on end-user service and satisfaction.

Travel to client locations as required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift up to 40 lbs.
