As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:
Program and operate manufacturing robots, work with part fixtures and other assembly tools, etc.
Perform assembly of semiconductor device with other consumable components on the scale of 100 parts per day, incorporating a combination of automated and manual operations
Become proficient in recognizing QC problems and addressing them proactively
Quickly assemble and disassemble tools and instrumentation, troubleshoot, make minor repairs to equipment, etc.
Work with the rest of our engineering team to develop and optimize our manufacturing protocols, help to design and improve fixturing, tool capability, etc.
The core of this position will initially be weighted toward careful, high-throughput assembly work. As the organization moves toward additional automation, there will be more opportunities for design work, selection of new equipment, developing new protocols, working with other engineers, and generally helping to guide the course of our consumables projects
B.S. degree in engineering, physics, or a related field
Experience with semiconductor packaging is a plus
Some mechanical design experience is required, Solidworks CAD experience is a plus
Good at manipulating small parts and enjoys taking things apart and putting them back together
