What you will do
Upon joining, your aim is to become the go-to person for the disposables in the Personal Protection Equipment business. You will have the responsibility to work on a commercialization plan for furthering the product line of disposables. You will partner with the manufacturing team in Tijuana to implement production changes for improved outcomes. You will also work to learn the standards which are required to commercialize a new disposable.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Design, development, testing, compliance, traceability, documentation and refinement of the disposable products.
- Participate in standards committees to drive changes to enhance safety and product development.
- Develop research prototypes used to evaluate new product concepts
- Understand the manufacturing process and lead improvement changes
- Own/Support all phases of the product development lifecycle including requirements, design, implementation, debug, verification, validation, and transfer to manufacturing
What you need
B.S. in Textile Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of related experience.
Desire to own the product line and be the SME for years to come.
