High school diploma or GED equivalent
Able to lift up to 35 lb
Have 6 or more months' relevant experience
Ability to provide work authorization, if hired
How to prepare

What to wear
Dress code is Wear appropriate clothing for a manufacturing environment and welding demonstration/test, including safety boots. Welding tools and all other PPE will be provided..
How to get to the event
Cross over the railroad tracks north of 12th and Washington. Parking is available in the lot on the corner of 12th and State streets. We will have posted signs along the walk way on the south side of the parking lot directing you to the main office building where interviews will take place. Our main building faces 13th and State streets, and has the name "Con-E-Co" written above the main entrance. What is a Hiring Event?
Think of it like a job fair, but for one company and more personal. Hiring events are a great way for employers to fill multiple roles quickly. Hiring is a human process, and they would like to meet you to see if you’re a fit!
Provide assistance doing basic electrical work including drilling, wiring & conduit installation. Applies electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery and electrical control equipment.
Basic math & reading aptitude and able to pass a math test
1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written & oral instructions
Basic knowledge of hand tools and electrical test equipment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, crouch, use hands and fingers to push, pull, carry, reach above head and lift and lower over 70 lbs. The employee may also be required to work at heights.
