We have an opening for an industrial engineer. This position will focus on implementing lean manufacturing techniques across our facility, with the goal of improving quality and efficiency.
Utilize mathematics, science, and engineering to streamline processes.
Establish and/or update labor time standards across various product lines.
Perform time studies as required.
Use lean manufacturing principles to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities to eliminate waste.
Identify areas of opportunity and when necessary, lead improvement activities or actively participate in the success of an activity.
Complete standard work sheets for assembly and fabrication cells.
Lead and/or participate in kaizen activities to reduce labor times.
Support 6S activities across the manufacturing facility.
Report efficiencies both locally and to headquarters.
Actively engage with peers and management in creation of positive workplace culture.
Must have a minimum 4-year degree in Industrial Engineering
Minimum of 3-5 years of methods and time study experience (i.e. MTM and/or MOST).
Experience in a lean-manufacturer utilizing standard work, single-piece flow and cell technology is preferable.
Experience with computer based time estimates is desirable.
