CNC Programmer
We are seeking a programmer that works independently, who can problem solve, has excellent communication skills, and has experience with CNC mills and lathes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills with attention to detail and possess 2+ years of experience with OneCNC Cad/Cam software.
Responsibilities:
· Interprets specifications, drawings, customer requirements and prepare a CNC program to manufacture customer parts. Precisely review customer (and blueprint) requirements to prevent any overlooks
- Create new, modify, update existing, or optimize CNC programs using Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) for Mills, Lathes, and Multi-axis machines
- Stay current with and integrate the use of the latest in machining and machine tool technologies
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience with CNC mills and lathes
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter / minimal supervision
- Ability to work in fast passed environment and stressful situations
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with 4th/5th axis programming software.
- Experience drawing solid models
