Outlook Group is looking for a results-driven Software Engineer. As Software Engineer, you will Analyze complex business issues; collaborate with business personnel and information technology team members; design, develop, test and deliver innovative technology solutions. As a leader in the organization, the software engineer will also serve in a project management and business analysis role.

Specify, design, code, test and document windows and web applications using programming languages, utilities, databases and other tools as needed.
Identify, recommend, and prioritize new features in conjunction with business leaders and department managers.
Produce high quality, fully tested technology solutions and services in accordance with client requirements.
Develop data integration solutions to move/share data between ERP and other systems.
Complete projects on schedule and in compliance with business requirements.
Lead and oversee development projects.
Define architecture and overall application structure.
Prepare a long-term plan for development, including standards and guidelines.
Assist in the configuration of servers (operating systems parameters, web services, security and/or permissions, etc.).
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems by reverse engineering existing systems.
Perform cost-benefit analyses of proposed projects and/or change requests.
Conduct research into current and emerging technologies to stay abreast of new developments and to solve business needs.
Manage relationships with external partners on hardware/software issues that affect systems and/or availability.
Develop annual goals including business objectives and self-development.


Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
7+ years development experience.
5+ years hands-on experience with C#, T-SQL, reporting (SSRS, Crystal Reports) and database management.
5+ years hands-on experience in Visual Studio, programming, debugging, testing, system design and working with databases.
Working knowledge of application, web and database servers.
Strong experience project management principals and system development life cycle.
Strong problem solving, program analysis, design and coding skills.
Demonstrated ability to work at both a conceptual and detail level.
Efficient and effective working both independently and as part of a team.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Broad experience in business and ability to effectively interact and communicate with individuals in business.
Leads, coordinates and influences others over whom there is not direct authority.
Conducts research into emerging technologies and programming languages.
