We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build and support the next generation of our core platform and APIs. You will be a key technical contributor and influence the architectural decisions the business relies on. This position involves work with high performance and high availability systems, as well as front end work. Full Stack Engineer Responsibilities:
Participate in the design and implementation of software solutions (including new commercial Pharmacy software configuration/integration and e-commerce construction)
Build high performance, scalable, server-side technologies using open-source and proprietary technologies
Write maintainable, well documented code with extensive test coverage
Work in a professional software engineering environment with VCS (Version Control System), dev/stage/production release cycles and continuous integration
Identify viable technical solutions and alternatives across all elements of HealthWarehouse’s IT environment

Full Stack Engineer Requirements:
Local candidacy (Greater Cincinnati) or willingness to relocate to the area
Strong CS (Computer Science) fundamentals, including good working knowledge of classic algorithms and data structures
3+ years of professional software development experience shipping high-volume, scalable applications on a service-oriented architecture
Working knowledge of current technology stack: PHP, RESTful APIs, relation and non-relational database engines, HTML, CSS and JavaScript/JavaScript frameworks
Strong communication skills: you can clearly articulate your point of view
Proven ability to self-manage but also work as part of a close-knit team using Agile development tools for tracking progress, issues, etc.
Thorough understanding architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications
Rigor in A/B testing, test coverage, and other best practices (Git, CI, Code formatting, etc.)
Desire to learn and build solutions leveraging potential new technologies such as Go, GraphQL, BigQuery, NoSQL databases, functional programming languages
Full Stack Engineer Bonus points
Previous experience in Health Care or Pharmacy I.T.
Experience with Magento 1 and Magento 2
Experience with Angular or React
Experience implementing e-commerce
Experience deploying to Cloud infrastructure (preferably Google’s Cloud Services)
Experience with Ansible, LDAP/Active Directory
Experience with Ubuntu, CentOS, and VMWare ESXI
Advanced networking experience a big plus
Demonstrated UI/UX sensibilities
Contributions to Open Source projects that you can show examples of (e.g: Github)
