Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Supports Application Services in the areas of incident, problem, and change; primarily in the area of bank operating applications;
Performs configuration/reconfiguration of bank operating applications;
Run updates on test and training core banking systems;
Supports bank operations team with daily updates to production core banking system;
Applies patches and updates on test and training core banking systems;
Reviews and ensures priority assignments are completed at the end of each workday;
Collaborates with internal network users to identify, document, and refine requirements and workflow;
Works closely with IT team members, business units, and vendors to troubleshoot and remediate production issues;
Performs daily performance analysis on core banking platform;
Creates and maintains documentation in support of running core banking systems;
Requires working outside normal business hours to complete assignments; and
Performs other duties as assigned.

Must be able to support, monitor and report metrics on IBM iSeries (Power8) systems;
Must be able to use command lines, menus, and graphical user interface (GUI) to perform duties;
Must have strong analytical and problem solving/decision making skills;
Must have knowledge of information technology concepts and ability to interact with business users to support applications;
Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and customer relation skills;
Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task;
Must have a strong working knowledge of office equipment;

Must be able to pay attention to detail and the ability to multi-task;
Must be able to work flexible shifts including after hours and weekends; and
Must be able pass background and credit screening process.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field, or currently enrolled in a four year degree plan within four semesters of completion required, combination of coursework and work related experience are eligible for consideration;
One - Four (1-4) years’ IBM iSeries (Power8) IBMi Operating System experience required;
One - Four (1-4) years’ experience with configuration management OR two (2+) plus years’ experience in a software/database development or IT help desk position required; and
Banking or financial services experience preferred.
