The Director of Automotive Quality will be responsible for establishing the vision and strategy to enable Lattice’s FPGA products within Tier 1 automotive customers. This role will lead continuous improvement projects across the company with the goal of establishing a zero defect culture in the companies organizations

An effective leader in this position will have the ability to create an atmosphere of collaboration between internal development on operations groups to drive the implementation of Best Practices and Methods for high quality product output.

Regular visits to customer locations and Lattice sub-contractor factories will be required, entailing both domestic and international travel.

Experience
Required
Strong structured problem solving capabilities including 8D investigation methods
Lean Six Sigma implementation and maintenance with the company
Experienced in automotive quality processes: 8D reporting, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, quality agreements, PCNs, customer audits, AEC100 requirements, Functional Safety, etc
Strong familiarity with automotive industry quality standards (AECQ-100, ISO26262, IATF16949, etc)
5 year(s): Direct experience interfacing with customers on quality and reliability requirements and issue resolution.
10 year(s): Related experience in Semiconductor field (FPGA experience preferred)
Education
Required
Bachelors or better in Engineering Management or related field
