Overview
We have an opening for a Software Engineer in our expanding IT Group. In this role, you will be provide programming and analysis support for new and existing information systems. You will also analyze, design and program enhancements to information systems based on user specifications and provide users with assistance in determining program enhancements and required maintenance.

Responsibilities
What you’ll do on a typical day

Assist in application system design and analysis with supervision of more senior software engineering associates
Analyze current programs and operational jobs and makes recommendations for better utilization and efficiency
Regularly provide technical assistance to Software Developers and occasionally provide assistance to other software engineering associates
Provide on-call technical support
Confer with user personnel and department representatives in resolving questions of program/system intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, and inclusion of internal checks and controls
Assist users in clarifying project requirements
Qualifications
Here are the key things you will need to have

An Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Services, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Engineering
At least 2 years of data processing experience as a Software Developer
Previous experience and knowledge of system integration concepts, hands-on software and troubleshooting experience, and experience with data management
Previous experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Here are some things we would like for you to have

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Services, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Engineering
At least 6 years of information systems experience as a Software Developer
Experience with Web Services, Azure preferred, Java, Git & GitLab, SQL, Android Studio or Docker
