Job Description

CannAmm LP is seeking energetic individual to join our IT team at our Edmonton location. We are an organization that is dedicated to continually developing, expanding, and enhancing our services to meet the changing needs of our clients. To provide the most comprehensive services possible, we work closely with our clients to develop drug-free workplace programs that address the concerns and specific requirements of our client, their employees, and industry regulators.

This position reports to the Director of IT and will work closely with the business Analyst, Operations and Network support group as well as 3rd party development consultants.

The ideal Software Developer will have a strong background working with SQL and SQL reporting services. As a Software Developer, your role will be to assist in Planning, designing, developing, enhancing and maintaining custom solutions that are scalable and reliable. The position will also assist in development of supporting documentation to describe the applications and operating procedures for all developed solutions.

Current solutions and development is being done in Microsoft .NET framework, SQL server, ASP.NET, and C#, Telerik controls, TFS, MVC, Angular.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-5 years' experience in software development
  • SharePoint designer experience
  • Microsoft CRM development experience
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP experience
  • planning and writing SQL queries
  • assisting in database design
  • working with SQL triggers
  • SSIS scripts
  • Experience using SSRS
  • planning and writing code in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Framework 4.0 and using visual studio 2012

MAJOR FUNCTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Software Development

  • Plan and write SQL queries and assist in database design
  • Work with SQL triggers and SSIS scripts
  • Plan and write code in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Framework 4.0 using visual studio 2012
  • Work with Team Foundation Server
  • Design web forms optimizing data flow for users
  • Repair program bugs and defects
  • Improve performance and remove bottle necks in code
  • Assist in deployment and customization of software solutions including but not limited to,
  • SharePoint
  • Dynamics CRM
  • Dynamics GP
  • Custom in house applications
  • Version control
  • Maintenance of developed solutions

Documentation for Developed Solutions

  • Assist in documenting user manuals
  • Maintain detailed documentation on development processes
  • Update and maintain all necessary product documentation
  • User manuals
  • Developer manuals

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
