Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or field or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Information Assurance Compliance Specialist. This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation’s core defense/intelligence services and systems. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) has an exciting opportunity for you to become a part of the Enhanced Mobile Satellite Services (EMSS) team as an Information Assurance Compliance Specialist for the Iridium satellite-based communications system's gateway in Wahiawa, HI. EMSS is the interface to the Iridium satellite constellation. The successful candidate will develop and maintain the critical documentation necessary to maintain authority to operate (ATO). He or she will prepare and review all IA compliance and accreditation documentation to include Site Security Plan, Site Concept of Operations, Disaster Recovery Plan, Contingency Plan, Risk Assessment reports, and all IA related policies, and procedures.
Other opportunities in this role include:
Support development and sustainment of Risk Management Framework (RMF) package necessary for ATO approval
Strong advocate and leader of continuous process improvement efforts
Perform as the customer’s trusted advocate
Willing to provide after hours, on-call support as needed
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of ACAS, HBSS as well as IAVA/STIG process
Proficient and familiar with industry best practices related to IA vulnerability and risk assessment tracking and reporting
8570 compliant certification (active CISSP or Security+CE or equivalent) upon hire.
Ability to identify, track, and address current and new compliance requirements and regulations
Review and maintain Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) inputs
Perform vulnerability/risk assessments to support certification and accreditation
Lead DRA and POA&M development
Validate data for annual FISMA report
Maintain the site Cyber Security Threat Plan
Telephony and satellite communication background
Prior experience with the DIACAP process
Experience with CMRS
