TITLE: Entry-level Engineer

WBCM is well known for our work in civil engineering, structural engineering, transportation engineering, and marine and industrial/process engineering throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
This advertisement is part of an ongoing recruitment effort for multiple entry level engineering positions in 2020. We will contact qualified applicants if they are selected for a position.
The following duties are typical of an entry level engineer position but are not all-encompassing. Each person is expected to help in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product on schedule.
Perform and/or assist with modeling/analyzing
Perform and/or assist with evaluation studies and develop reports.
Preparation of specifications.
Perform and/or assist with field work during design, analysis and construction phases.
Assist in monitoring project budgets and schedules.
Assist in developing proposals and attending meetings.
Perform and/or assist with submittal review process.
EXPERIENCE: 0-1 years; entry level
Skills: Experience in MS-Office and AutoCAD. Written and verbal communication skills are essential.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s in Civil / Mechanical or a related field.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Both office and field work. Lifting +/-30lbs. Field work involves inspection or construction site visits which may consist of working at heights, climbing, being adjacent to traffic, being in a boat, and working in confined spaces. Field work may be required during any season. Must be able to lift ladders, assist in moving boats, and perform other light physical activity. Inspections may be scheduled at night or on weekends. Travel with overnight stay may be required occasionally. Overtime varies as required (±5 Hours/Week).
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have valid Driver’s license and own transportation
