What you will do!

You will participate in administering a solar and storage rebate program. You will review and process Solar and Storage Rebate Program applications. This includes maintaining program paper and electronic records, assisting applicants, providing customer service to interested parties, monitoring and auditing program monetary limits, and conducting project site inspections across the state.

Occasional overnight travel within the state will be required. You may be required to visit sites/facilities that includes extensive walking on uneven ground, standing, and/or climbing steep stairways with limited handholds.

This is a full-time limited-duration position that is not represented by a union.

Limited duration positions are benefit eligible positions with a designated maximum length of service. This position is expected to last through November 30, 2020 but could end at any time or depending on funding could be extended or become permanent.

Qualifications

Two years of general clerical experience, one year of which included typing, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR
an Associate's degree in Office Occupations or Office Technology; OR Graduation from a private school of business with a Certificate in Office Occupations or Office Technology and one year of general clerical experience.

College courses in Office Occupations or Office Technology will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Requested Skills

Computer skills, including MS Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook
Proficient in entering and tracking data accurately into one or more databases
Experience providing customer service to the public over the telephone and in writing
Experience explaining rules, policies, and procedures
Experience traveling to and performing site inspections
