The Project Manager plans, directs and coordinates activities of multiple project teams to ensure that goals and objectives of the project/s are accomplished on time, implemented at or below the estimated cost, and billed in a timely fashion throughout the duration of the project/s.
Manage projects ranging from $100,000 to $10,000,000.
Must manage and review drawings to flush out all RFI’s and required submittals and bring items to closure. Expected to review all disciplines of drawings and develop one coordinated drawing for the field.
Highlights plans of each concrete element with sizes and elevations, reference relevant RFI’s. Must coordinate with all respective trades. Consolidate SOW for the field so information is consolidated and accurate.
Manage SOWs and ensure change orders are submitted before field work changes are made. Coordinate with the field on all slip work.
Visit all job sites minimum of once a week to ensure schedule, efficiency and accuracy is being achieved. Ideal candidate understands how work is being performed, if out of sequence, workforce requirements and how this affects the overall budget.
Actively participate in project buy-out and formalizing subcontractors.
Review all project documents, including project submittals, RFI’s, and shop drawings, for completeness and accuracy.
Assist Superintendents with initial project set-up including site logistics.
Responsible for managing project financials, billings, and cost procedures.
Responsible for the financial oversight of field labor.
Conduct team meetings, owner/architect meetings, and safety audits presenting job cost, scheduling updates and project status reports at regular intervals.
Manage project closeout.
Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with clients, Construction Managers, project team, consultants/architect/engineers, subcontractors, adjacent community, trade unions, and governmental agencies.
Degree in Construction Management of Engineering preferred
10+ years of experience in the concrete industry
Concrete Project Management and Superintendent experience a must. Estimating experience a plus.
Must be capable to run a project from the estimate to the execution to the close-out.
Detail oriented and good organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal skills.
