Entry level position that researches, analyzes, designs, and tests component parts, processes, or systems to develop new and/or improve products. Develops and recommends solutions for technical project assignments using fundamental principles of assigned engineering domain (e.g. mechanical; electrical, chemical, etc.). Acquires basic knowledge and develops skills in a specific area. Applies standard techniques and procedures to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment and will be assisted, as required, by the team's more experienced engineering members. Exercises limited judgment on details of work. Acquires general product knowledge and theory of operation and related manufacturing processes.
- Apply practical Engineering knowledge to design and detail parts and assemblies to meet design intent. •Plan and execute verification tests to determine design intent • Create and maintain test apparatus to perform functional testing with data collection to verify concepts. • Review and analyze data to determine acceptability and then prepare Engineering Reports. • Assist and support other functional areas of the business on projects as needed.
- BS or PE Certificate in an engineering or science technical discipline. Professional entry level position. - Some relevant prior industry experience or have worked with direction in student internship programs. - Fundamental knowledge of engineering domain principles, concepts & techniques. Fundamental knowledge & use of basic engineering design and analysis tools.
