Identifies product opportunities and executes marketing strategies to win business. Works with the product manager in order to identify new product development opportunities to bring those products to market. Leverages feedback from sales organization and customers in order to generate product specs that will guide the engineering team to develop winning products. Collects and codifies applicable information on other products in the market in order to create collateral that will assist in product positioning. Maintains pricing levels to ensure pricing is appropriate and profitable. Coordinate customer visits and witness test and maintain /enhance customer experience.
Identify business opportunities & executes marketing strategies to win business via independent sales representatives
Generation of product specs and justification for initiating new product development projects
Coordinating between Engineering team and software team to implement new products into sales software, including pricing, physical data, drawings, limitations, etc
Develops and maintains strategic information and documents (in coordination with Marketing Communications Dept.) to guide sales team in how to strategically sell Daikin chiller products
Manage list prices and analyze product margins
Coordinate customer visits and witness test visits to the factory and promote Daikin experience thought out the visit.
Occasional travel required.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from four-year college or university.
5-10 years of marketing experience in the HVAC industry and/or MBA degree, preferred
