II-VI Marlow in Dallas, Texas is looking for a NPI Engineer.
This job requires that an individual come into contact with raw materials, products, equipment / machines, software or technology controlled by the Export Administration Regulations or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. The job must be filled by a U.S. person, or a person for whom a valid export control license, or exception, has been obtained or is not required from the U.S. Government.
Create, document and develop new optimized products and processes that are both evolutionary and revolutionary improvements to MI's technological capability and products.
BS in Engineering or Science discipline, BSME preferred
Due to ITAR compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
Required: 3+ years applicable experience in developing/creating new products using thermal modeling tools, using existing and new technology resources, and through close work with customers,
Required: Problem Solving experience and skillset
Desired: Experience in moving product from concept to volume production
Required: Proficient computer skills, experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Email, internet access and the ability to develop tools and/or special applications within these packages. Ability to excel in a cross-organizational, corss-cultural, global team environment
Effectively manages multiple priorities and complex issues
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
