ArcelorMittal Steelton is one of only three rail producers in North and South America. Our Steelton facility, located along the Susquehanna River in Steelton, Pennsylvania (south of Harrisburg), is currently searching for a process control engineer. As a process control engineer at ArcelorMittal Steelton, you’ll work with the latest technology to help us develop new and improved steels that are used in making our world faster, stronger and more sustainable. Maintain plant process control systems
Engineer and implement process control system improvements
Work with operating departments in developing and implementing process or mill improvements
Work safely and assure plant safety policies are followed
Assist plant electrical technicians in troubleshooting
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
3-5 years Industrial/manufacturing mechanical & electrical maintenance experience
Experience with all aspects of programming and maintenance for AB PLC5 and ControlLogix PLCs, including Structured Text and Motion Control
Must have experience with the following software: RSLogix 5000, FactoryTalk, Wonderware and AutoCad
Ability to troubleshoot complex industrial controls including AC, DC and Servo drives
Familiarity with plant floor data acquisition systems
Good troubleshooting and team building skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
