Tenna is seeking an Integration Engineer to help efficiently streamline inter-operability across our Customer Success application ecosystem. The Integration Engineer will play a crucial role in designing and implementing automated workflows and processes for Tenna’s applications. The ideal candidate will be a forward and innovative thinker, a quick learner and an excellent communicator who possesses a passion for the IoT revolution!
Build and maintain workflows between Salesforce, Tenna’s IoT app, and other platforms.
Document new integration solutions created using internally developed and/or commercial off-the-shelf products, in accordance with engineering best practices.
Develop and maintain data integration components such as stored procedures, data extraction and cleansing, and integration with system front end components.
Write code to retrieve appropriate data as derived from requirements.
Build reports and/or data extracts to support business analysis.
Support Engineers on resolving system defects and recommend solutions accordingly.
Coordinate directly with our engineering and business team to best understand and analyze business specifications.
Provide technical assistance to troubleshoot and resolve integration errors.
Provides direction on the dependencies and requirements of hardware and software components.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related STEM degree program is required.
2+ years’ experience in software design, development, and delivery.
2+ years’ experience in application integration and integration solutions.
2+ years’ experience with Salesforce configuration, administration and development.
Advanced skills and operational experience in the following areas:
Architecting and implementing application workflows
Application integration patterns
API and web services
Database functions (MySQL, NoSQL)
Message and event architecture
Integration using JSON, RESTful API, SOAP WS, EDI
Implementation of security concepts (Cert, OAuth)
Operational experience with the following software platforms:
QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and SDK
Strong understanding of how Systems Engineering and Integration supports the software development lifecycle (Concept, Requirements, Design, Test & Transition, Operations).
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-motivated individual, with a strong service orientation and “do what it takes” attitude.
Excellent organizational skills.
