Your responsibilities include electronic circuit building and debugging, PCBA design reviews and prototype build debugging. The ability to read and understand component data-sheets in the context of circuit operation is a must.

A strong practical understanding of the principles of electronic circuit operation containing components such as transistors, resistors, capacitors, inductors, LEDs, oscillators, op amps, and motors, and integrated circuits is a must.

Electronic Circuit building skills required include soldering, breadboarding, and PCBA repair and prototype assembly. Experience with SMT build and repair is highly desirable.

ECAD skills required include reading schematics and layouts using PCBA design tools to understand, build, and debug PCBAs and breadboard circuits. Circuit design and layout experience using Altium is preferred. Training for Altium is available for candidates who are experts in other tools.

MCAD skills preferred include simple 3D modeling, the use and understanding of 3D Printers, and mechanical prototyping techniques are preferred.

Equipment skills required include oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, volt / ammeters / ohmmeters, and similar test tools.

Simple programming and 'Maker' experience using open source hardware such as Arduino, Feather, Beaglebone, Rasperry Pi, and similar software / hardware prototyping platforms is highly desirable.
