The Pax Flight Science Flight Test Engineer's primary roles will be to support flight testing at Patuxent River Naval Air Station on the F-35B and F-35C aircraft. This includes providing real time control room monitoring support of the STOVL and CV flight test aircraft, conducting pre-flight predictions and post flight data requests, and supporting flight test anomaly resolution and correlation of predictive models with measured flight test data.
**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and MS Windows operating system.
Coursework or experience in Aircraft Flying Qualities, Aircraft Performance, Aircraft Structures, Aircraft Propulsion, and/or Aircraft Vehicle Systems
Flight Test Experience
Computer programming experience in FORTRAN, VBA, or C/C++.
Good written and verbal skills are required.
