About the Job
We are looking for an experienced RTU Programmer to join our team. This position is responsible
for preparing, installing, and servicing all company products at client sites, which may include
equipment calibrations, troubleshooting, radio installations, instrument and controls
programming, performing low-voltage electrical wiring, and performing tank and H2O
This role requires the ability to create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design,
programming, stimulation and testing, as well as startup. You are responsible for developing
customer programming per customer requirements and producing sequences of operations for
customer review and approval. You perform PLC/RTU troubleshooting, using ABB Totalflow
You will work both in close collaboration with people — mentoring and training company
employees — and alone in remote areas on the jobsite. We will lean on you to maintain strong
customer relations. You'll be expected to engage in, communicate, and reinforce the mission,

Technical degree in Automation Controls or Instrumentation Technology or a BS degree in a related field, or Automation and Control related experience.
1-3 years experience with PLC/RTU Instrumentation and Controls.
Strong computer experience. Must have programming experience.
Previous experience in the oil and gas industry.
Experience with designing SCADA/HMI platforms, including programming PLCs.
Able to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprint schematics.
Valid driver's license with a good MVR.
Able to speak, write, and read the English language.
