Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for Logistics Application Database Manager located at the USAF Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division in San Antonio, TX. This position will support the Fixed Site Sustainment II oversight program. This program oversees sustainment of installed physical security intrusion detection and security assessment equipment at approximately 90 permanent base locations. The installed equipment provides 24/7/365 detection and assessment of physical intrusions into secure areas on affected bases.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret
EDUCATION: B.S. or 15 years’ experience in lieu of B.S.
CERTIFICATIONS: CompTIA Security+ or comparable certification highly preferred
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 10 years experience of which 3 years must be in the DoD, or 15 years experience in lieu of B.S., 5 of which must be in the DoD.
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining systems in a DISA-hosted environment.
Experience handling software change requests.
Basic understanding of HTML syntax to program the output of database notification templates.
Familiarity with Agile software development is a plus.
Experience with Role Based Access Controls (RBAC) for database user account administration.
Experience creating and updating trouble ticket workflows.
Experience with Microsoft Excel pivot tables, conditional formatting, and functions.
Incumbent will be the incident handler when database becomes inaccessible. Coordinate with DISA and contracted support technicians to resolve unplanned outages and coordinate planned downtimes.
Be the point of contact for DISA when they need approval to patch the severs hosting the database.
Evaluate proposed operating system changes and work with the database developer to ensure changes won’t adversely affect database functionality.
Work with database developer and DISA hosting representatives to ensure the database is protected from newly discovered software vulnerabilities.
Ensure the Authority To Operate (ATO) is maintained for the database.
Respond to Government agency requests for information regarding the database.
Chair weekly IPT calls with COTS database developers. Maintain meeting Action Items.
Provide reports on contractor mean response time and mean time to repair and perform trend analysis.
