J.S. Held is a global professional services/consulting firm specializing in construction, forensic architecture & engineering, environmental, health & safety services, equipment, water and fire restoration, and forensic accounting services. We are seeking an Engineer with expertise in mechanical, equipment and electrical systems to enhance our already robust and growing team of professionals supporting clients throughout the US. This position is a full-time consultant role.
Assess cyber incidents, determine scopes of impact and damages, provide cost analysis / estimation, and provide remediation recommendations.
Position is client facing, therefore requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team setting.
Main job duties will require site inspections / meetings, document review and requests for information, cost estimation and pricing, verification and analysis of technical issues.
Job requires travel up to 25%, sometimes short notice.
Candidate will be a team member of a large, multidisciplinary consulting firm with some of the leading industry experts in the world.
We would like to talk to you if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business
7-10 years experience
Certifications preferred: Security+, Network+, CEH, CISSP, or other similar industry certifications
Experience analyzing incidents such as viruses, network breaches, data theft, data loss, Denial of Service attacks, and ransomware.
Understanding of cyber incident response, impacts to business, and remediation.
Experience with IT and networking hardware such as Servers, computers, routers, switches, firewalls, Storage systems
Experience with analyzing log data, digital evidence, and other information collection from cyber evaluations
Experience with a variety of different software systems and applications
Able to communicate verbally and in concise written reports
Able to work with and communicate with both technical representatives and executives
Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel, word, and power point
Previous claims, insurance, or consulting experience a plus
