As a Mechanical Engineer, this is your unique opportunity to set your mark and live on the leading edge. As part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional project team, you will be responsible for all engineering tasks from concept development through product launch.
Collaborate with teammates to create innovative product designs. Model and analyze designs in CAD software.
Prototype concepts and test them in Kohler’s test lab.
Diagnose laboratory test failures, establish root causes, and implement solutions.
Create product specifications that capture customer needs and incorporate key engineering, regulatory and manufacturing requirements.
Create Bills of Material and product documentation.
Analyze products for performance, cost, and manufacturability improvements.
Understand new technology and incorporate into product designs.
Drive completion of engineering deliverables to meet project timelines.
Submit disclosures to Kohler legal for intellectual property protection.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related degree from an ABET accredited program.
College internship, Co-Op or previous engineering work exposure preferred.
Readily capable of applying engineering fundamentals to practical problem solving and in advanced product-related technologies.
